School Violence

ramen.jpg

It is very scary at my school…think Dangerous Minds….I mean I am in the trenches every day… there is violence, people! Take, for instance, the altercation on the playground yesterday. Darius was snacking on his Ramen noodles, when Tyler asked if he could have some. After taking a few more bites, Darius handed Tyler the package of noodles, which Tyler proceeded to throw at Darius’s head. Furious that he had been “dissed,” Darius started yelling at Tyler and pushed him into a pole. Later that day, in after-school car pick-up line, I was mauled when two 3rd graders decided to go to war with their rolling backpacks. Pray for me. ;)

you are on the front lines, my dear…you ain’t in no trenches! you are right smack in the middle of the mind field (as opposed to mine field)! you better keep your full armor on at all times! it’s a scary place to be! but you are up to the task! i have full confidence in your ability to fight the good fight! you’re doing great, kiddo!

What is up with the kids eating the noodles uncooked? I hear they sprinkle the powder on the noodle and snack on it. Yuck!!!!! I remember eating that everyday in college. I think I had enough for the rest of my life.
love the Friday pictures.
Oh yeah!! pray for me too!!! I was the one who witnessed the pole pushing dissing incedent. Ha! ;)
have a great weekend, oh i left school at 7:15, just got carried away trying to finish all of it.
:)

Why are they snacking on Ramen noodles? I’ve eaten enough of those to last me the rest of my life! They should really ban those backpacks with wheels…those things are dangerous…especially in the hands of 3rd graders!
